CITG_LogoChildren’s Innovative Therapy Group (CITG), LLC  welcomes you to this website where we would like to take the opportunity to describe the breath of therapy services being offered.  CITG provides the full scope of pediatric Speech-Language Therapy located on the northern end of the Bethesda, Maryland business district.  The owner/director, Diane Lewis, MA, CCC/SLP has been a dedicated member of the local therapy community for almost 40 years and is eager to share her wisdom and care with your family.  She is fortunate to have 5 full-time highly qualified and enthusiastic speech-language pathologists that support her mission with the families, schools and community.

It is the mission at CITG to provide state-of-the-art diagnostic, therapy, and consultative speech-language services where each child’s individual differences-their unique gifts and challenges, are taken into account so the child makes the best progress possible.  CITG specializes in working with children from birth through adolescence.  Our staff has expertise in providing therapy to children with a wide range of developmental delays including autism spectrum, cognitive delays, a variety of syndromes, cerebral palsy, learning disabilities, attention deficit/hyperactivity, executive function, dyslexia, dyspraxia, and, seizure disorders.

The process begins when you contact us by phone (301-652-2220) or email ( This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it ) followed up with either a formal evaluation or informal intake/observation session.  Once those steps are completed and the decision has been made that speech-language therapy would be helpful, a speech-language pathologist will be paired with your child and will contact you directly to set up the schedule for subsequent sessions of therapy.  Each child will have their own therapy notebook where weekly notes and the Home Program will be maintained.
